Dr. Surisham Dhillon, M.D.
Dr. Surisham Dhillon completed her Neurology Residency at UCLA/West Los Angeles VA Medical Center where she served as the Chief Resident for Neurology Services from 1992-1995. After completing a fellowship in electrophysiology she then went on to start her own neurology practice, Valencia Neurology Medical Group, in 1998. In addition to her responsibilities within her practice, she has served as the Director of the Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital since 2008. She has an ongoing professional interest in the latest clinical research for various Neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s, Epilepsy & Parkinsons disease. This interest has led her to explore various integrative approaches for the betterment and wellbeing of her patients.
Dr. Dhillon has also always had an artistic side to her personality which manifests itself in her love of painting, whether she paints with watercolors, oil-based paints or even dyes! She has been creating artwork since she was a child and she continues to paint to this day. Even with her busy schedule, Dr. Dhillon tries to find time to give back to the community around her through charitable initiatives. Along with her colleagues, she has been involved with medical missions to provide medical care to underserved communities throughout the world.
